Pony Tails

We spent Father's Day weekend in Richmond with Jace's parents. On Sunday we went to the soggy Wayne County fair to see the animals.  We stopped by the exhibit of baby animals on the way in, but Greta wouldn't leave Daddy's arms. But on the way out, she had gained some confidence and fed the animals and even took a pony ride.  We were all shocked that she got on the pony.  I was so glad I grabbed my camera at the last minute.

This guy was so nice, but Greta wanted no part of his help.  He tried to put his arm on her back and she swatted it away.  He then tried to hold her leg and she again swatted him away.  She did a good job holding onto the saddle by herself.  She had a sober face the entire ride, but she loved it.  She asked to do it again when the ride was over. 

She really wanted to see the animals, but the barn fans really freaked her out.
