Woody and Hoot
The other day we discovered some severe damage from a woodpecker. Woody pecked about 20 holes in our newly stained play set. After some Facebook advice, Jace and Greta headed to Lowes for an owl to scare the woodpeckers away. They named her Hoot (gender determined by Greta) and Greta LOVES her new friend.

Deja Vu
Jace and Greta were playing catch in the backyard, so I thought I would do a little video. Little did I know I would capture such comedy. It really cracks me up because this might as well be Mike and little Laura about 30 years ago. My favorite part is the dirty look she shoots back at Daddy, like "how dare you throw a ball I can't catch".
Let the pool fun begin...
Filling her whale pool that she named Lula. Lula gave us three fun years and finally bit the dust.
Swim break for Fudgsicles.
I asked for a cute pose and this is what she gave me.
Big party for the opening of the Merrimac pool.
Her chariot awaits after a fun day of swimming.
RIP Lula, but you've been replaced.
As you can see, Greta thought her floatie was needed for the "big pool".
