2 Month Check-Up

Greta had her two month check-up today and the doctor was very pleased with her growth and development. This was also the appointment where she received her first immunization shots. She was a trooper and after the initial screaming, she calmed down immediately. We all had very important roles. Jace had the job of holding the pacifier in her mouth, the nurse administered the shots, and I stood by the door and cried into one of Greta's blankets. We'll see how she handles the next few days. The doc said she could be fussy. Here are her current stats:

• WEIGHT: 9 pounds, 10 ounces (20th percentile)
• LENGTH: 21.5 inches (20th percentile)
• HEAD: 38.4 inches (30th percentile)
